Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time speech-language pathologist is needed for a contract position supporting K-12 students at an elementary school in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This role focuses primarily on a caseload of PreK through 5th-grade students, including those utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. The assignment is onsite and runs through the next school year.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Utilize AAC strategies and tools confidently to enhance communication for nonverbal or minimally verbal students
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports following school and professional guidelines
Qualifications :
