About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily production, inventory, sourcing, and supply chain across our growing manufacturing network.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands the complexities of FDA- and USDA-regulated food manufacturing and thrives on making operations run smoother, smarter, and more efficiently – without compromising quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations , including production scheduling, safety, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP, and food safety regulations across all facilities and co-packers.
  • Develop and execute production forecasts based on sales projections and inventory targets.
  • Manage sourcing and procurement for ingredients, packaging, and co-manufacturing partners.
  • Oversee inventory management of raw materials and finished goods to optimize service levels and working capital.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, freight partners, and 3PL providers .
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance product consistency.
  • Develop and track KPIs for production, quality control, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor production, warehouse, and logistics teams to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify operational challenges and implement data-driven solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Address supply chain disruptions, production bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies to ensure business continuity and product quality.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, QA, and R&D to align operations with business goals.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely shipping of retail purchase orders across all retail channels and platforms, including EDI, 3PL warehouse management systems (WMS), and Amazon Seller / Vendor Central. Monitor and resolve any issues related to shipping and fulfillment.
  • Audit and analyze 3PL, freight, and shipping expenses and bills to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure that B2B outbound shipments adhere to retailer routing guidelines. Review and analyze chargebacks, providing detailed reports and managing disputes with retailers as necessary to resolve discrepancies and recover costs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA or APICS certification a plus).
  • 5–10+ years of CPG manufacturing experience , ideally in food or beverage production .
  • Proven success managing operations in an FDA- and USDA-inspected facility .
  • Strong understanding of ERP / MRP systems, production scheduling, and supply chain planning.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment with a hands-on management style.

  • Compensation & Benefits

    Salary Range :

  • $150,000 – $190,000
  • Bonus : Annual bonus based on performance

    Benefits : Health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO
