Position Summary : Maintain order and safety in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers.

Qualifications, Certifications and Experience :

Pre-Employment Certifications (Responsibility of the EMPLOYEE to earn and maintain; cost of certification and time spent on the certification are not covered by the employer) :

• Current Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross preferred, Others as approved by CE Aquatic Coordinator must convert to ARC within 1 year of hire date)
• Current First Aid and CPR-PR Certification (American Red Cross preferred, Others as approved by CE Aquatic Coordinator must convert to ARC within 1 year of hire date)

Certifications Obtainable upon Employment (Complete within 2 weeks of hire and prior to first scheduled shift; cost of certification and time spent on the certification are covered by the employer) :
