Personal Growth Counseling Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team. The PMHNP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients with mental health disorders, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders. This role involves providing both psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic care to clients, developing individualized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, holistic care.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients presenting with a range of mental health conditions.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that include psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions.
Prescribe, administer, and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring compliance with the Ohio Revised Code and best practices.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers, to deliver integrated care.
Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, medication management, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code and organizational policies.
Participate in continuing education and advanced training opportunities to maintain up-to-date knowledge of psychiatric practices, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy techniques.
Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PMHNP, preferably in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.
Strong clinical skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
