Job descriptionEnsure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following all policies, procedures, and always acting in a safe manner Use of proper personal protective equipment to sample waste in shipping containers throughout the warehouse and properly track and label the materials as needed Responsible for knowledge of Waste Information Network (WIN) system applicable to inventory and drum storage rack system Maintain up to date knowledge of all applicable SOP’s Maintain proper housekeeping and follow best practices for supply management in areas of responsibility Other duties as assigned Bachelor's degree in a related field General chemical knowledge is a plus Prior sampling and waste handling experience preferred Forklift experience preferred Computer proficiency within a Windows based system
The Receiving Chemist will be responsible for receiving, sampling, and analyzing waste from 55-gallon drum shipments within our industrial warehouse facility. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable hard-worker to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
