Overview
Title : ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN / Automation Engineer / Controls Engineer
Location : Pocomoke City, Maryland, United States - Onsite
If they have clearance, great; if not, that's ok. Has to be a US
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Rockwell, Siemens).
- Develop and integrate HMI applications (Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, LabVIEW).
- Program, operate, and maintain industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Kuka).
- Create and maintain flowcharts, process diagrams, and documentation using Microsoft Visio.
- Participate in and lead system start-ups , including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Apply 5S and lean principles to ensure efficient, safe, and organized work environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful automation projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for internal teams, management, and clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics , or a related field (or equivalent work experience).3–7 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or robotics engineeringStrong understanding of PLC / HMI programming and robot integrationExperience with FAT, SAT, and system commissioningFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen).Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to travel to customer sites for testing and commissioning as required.Skills
Experience with SCADA systems and network integration.Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, CE).Project management experience in automation environments.Benefits for Full-Time Employees
