Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a

• Desktop Support Analyst
• to join a dynamic IT Operations team that provides comprehensive support across multiple office locations. This role involves a mix of ticket resolution, walk-up support, and project-based work, supporting approximately 800 end users.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, maintaining systems, and contributing to process improvements that enhance the overall employee experience.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Deliver consistent, high-quality end-user support across Windows and macOS environments.
• Provide onsite, email, and chat-based support for hardware, software, and business applications.
• Collaborate with team members to improve support processes, documentation, and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business operations through effective use of technology.
• Manage inventory and logistics for hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Support onboarding activities including account setup, device provisioning, and workspace preparation.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
• Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
• Administer and support cloud-based business applications.
• Create and maintain clear documentation using tools such as wikis or knowledge bases.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and services to improve IT operations.
• Ensure operating systems and applications are kept up to date.
• Provide audiovisual (AV) support for meetings and events.
• Qualifications :
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications and remote support tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of onboarding processes and user provisioning.

This is a Contract position based out of Kenosha, WI.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
