About The Position

Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist

Profession : Technologist

Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : 2 years of current CT / X-Ray experience

License : Massachusetts

Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Previous travel experience (at least 6 months or more)

Description :

This is a CT / X-Ray technologist position.

Primarily, CT will be needed for this posting, but X-ray experience is also required.

Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.

Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.

May be assigned independent responsibilities by the Lead Technologist or Management.

Proper care of the client in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.

May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel.

Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and electronic format are required.

Practices infection control in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.

Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.

Demonstrates proper operation of necessary computer systems.

Demonstrates ability to operate and troubleshoot applications.

Completes annual mandatory education to include infection control and safety protocols.

Maintains department competencies as required.

Technologist will be required to perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.

Travelers are required to work during the holiday periods.

The schedule must be adhered to as specified in the posting.

Any requested time off must be noted and verified at the time of submission.

Emergency coverage may be required during low census.

Travelers must have their own vehicle.
