Join our dedicated team at Groton Family Dentistry PC as a Dental Assistant! In this exciting role, you will support our dental professionals in providing exceptional care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling efficiently.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing and insurance verification.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using dental software and technology.
- Current CPR certification is a plus.
- Dental Assistant license.
