Assistant Professor – Graduate Counseling Program

Salary Range : 85k to 95k (Salary determination is based on experience & qualifications).

Trinity Washington University, a comprehensive university in the Nation’s capital, offering a broad range of educational programs that prepare students across the lifespan for the intellectual, ethical and spiritual dimensions of contemporary work, civic and family life invites applications for an Assistant Professor to support our mission within the graduate counseling programs in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The program is located within the School of Nursing and Health Professions.

Position Summary :

The Counseling Program at Trinity Washington University is seeking faculty candidates with teaching and professional experiences as a counselor educator, and have achieved their doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited University or College for an Assistant Professor position, starting in 2026. The position is Category B, which is non-tenure track, but potential for promotion. Specifically, we seek individuals with a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion who have worked with diverse and underrepresented student populations, and possess a passion for and experience teaching in higher education.
