MBN Engineering is searching for a graduate Civil Engineer to work in person in our Fargo, ND office. The selected candidate will work directly under a licensed professional engineer to develop the required experience and knowledge to become a successful Civil Engineer.

Duties / Responsibilities

Prepare construction documents, details, specifications, and estimates

Employ company design standards and policies

Prepare Engineering reports and exhibits

Maintain accuracy and quality while adhering to project schedules

Be able to read and apply city land development codes and standards

Apply concepts and expertise to serve as a civil site designer as experience allows

Provide site inspection and reporting

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Years of Experience : 0+ years

Experience with AutoCAD® Civil 3D is preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office® and BlueBeam®

Previous internship experience in a similar field is preferred

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other professionals, colleagues, and clients

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must have a valid driver’s license

EIT is preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Working towards obtaining PE license

Compensation and Benefits

In person work hours are 40 hours per week with overtime possible.

Summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day) Monday-Thursday 7 : 30-5 : 30, Friday 8 : 00-12 : 00

Salary to be determined based on experience $60,000-$70,000
