Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer to support the end-to-end Remote Update process for an Autonomous Driving system. This role involves testing on development vehicles and HIL environments, maintaining test setups, building automation, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality software updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases on development vehicles and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups.
  • Maintain, debug, and manage HIL systems, including Restbus simulations.
  • Define clear, detailed test cases and review requirements related to delta update processes.
  • Extend and maintain Python-based automation frameworks with new test cases and tools.
  • Manage and generate development software builds in C++ for HIL, including flashing and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and refine test coverage.
  • Work with development engineers to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software issues.
  • Provide daily progress updates in a fast-paced development environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience with embedded software integration and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive debugging tools such as Vector tools, CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.
  • Proficiency in Python, Linux, and API integrations.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration systems and test automation scripting.
  • Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, and CI / CD platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in complex system environments.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with automation and debugging technologies.
