Robotics Technician

Insight Global is looking for a Robotics Engineer to work for a client in DFW.

This individual must be capable of providing robotics engineering service for all typical process applications. You will be supporting, maintaining, and optimizing robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. The role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing downtime, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities include :

• Create and teach others how to create new robot path programs using the robot teach pendant.
• Supervise teams of robot programmers.
• Dress and teach others how to dress robots.
• Debug and teach others how to debug robot interfaces.
• Perform robot reach studies and station cycle time analysis.
• Provide design suggestions for end-effector and tooling.
• Perform robot payload and inertia analysis.
• Create off-line robot programs.
• Download offline robot programs using the robot teach pendant.
