Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat various Ob / Gyn conditions
• Perform surgical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in patient education and counseling
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations

Requirements

Level III Trauma

Schedule : 12 or 24-hour weekday or weekend call shifts 1 : 5 rotation

Setting : Inpatient

Delivery Volume : 65-80 per month

40% low-risk patients 60% high-risk patients

Duties : OB triage deliveries rounding circumcisions if able and

Required Procedures : Deliveries laceration repairs surgical gynecology FHR interpretation ultrasounds and amniocentesis

Support Staff : 4 MDs 1-2 CNMs and labor & delivery post-partum OR and ER staff

EMR : Cerner

Must be board-certified
