Job Summary
LEDdynamics is seeking an Accounting Clerk for its manufacturing facility in Randolph, VT. This is a full-time on-site position that reports to the Plant Controller. This function maintains accounts payable, accounts receivable, and some elements of the general ledger business transactions of the organization, including analysis and review.
Responsibilities :
- Provide support to the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the accounting department.
- Provide processing and recording of accounts payable transactions to ensure all external invoices and personnel reimbursements are verified and paid accurately according to Company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all recurring payments are either processed or accrued for the month.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
- Perform the processing of cash receipts and ensure the accurate recording of revenue and receivables. This includes monitoring bank accounts daily for any changes.
- Review receivables aging weekly and inquire on payments as necessary.
- Review vendor statements periodically.
- Review and enter all credit card transactions at least weekly, verifying receipt documentation.
- Responsible for employee expense reports, verifying receipt documentation, auditing, obtaining approval, and accurate entry into the A / P system.
- Responsible for selected balance sheet accounts, including monthly analysis and reconciliation.
- Prepare and obtain credit references for new customers.
- Perform general account analysis and reconciliation as needed.
- Any other duties / tasks / analysis to support the organization as needed.
Job Skills and Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with GAAP accounting.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Exposure to MRP systems.Experience with intercompany transactions helpful, but not required.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.High level of professionalism and personal integrity.Ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines.Minimum of valid and relevant Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.About LEDdynamics :
