Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The minimum qualifications for a School Nurse (RN) :

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Nurse in a school setting(may include residency or clinical practicum), or 1 year of verifiable pediatrics experience
• Valid NursingLicense (RN) in State of Iowa
• Candidate must be experienced with G - Tubes,Tracheostomy, and Diabetic Care
• Candidate must have experience performing vision and hearing screenings
• Candidate must hold a certification in CPR ( C ardiopulmonary Resuscitation )
• Candidate must hold a certification in BLS ( Basic Life Support )
• Candidate must hold a certification in PALS ( Pediatric Advanced Life Support )
