Job descriptionProvide direct patient care, including evaluation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical concerns. Design, implement, and interpret personalized physical therapy treatment programs. Perform or delegate patient treatments including therapeutic exercises, gait training, modalities, and hydrotherapy. Educate patients on proper care, exercise performance, and use of supports. Ensure comprehensive and accurate patient documentation and reporting. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Communicate progress and compliance with patients, case managers, and coordinators. Support clinical instruction for physical therapy students as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, professional development, and team meetings. Adhere to quality assurance standards, HIPAA regulations, and safety guidelines. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required). Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (preferred). Current state licensure (or eligibility). 0–5 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic or outpatient setting preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Proficiency in documentation, EMR systems, and standard therapy equipment.
