Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Prevention Lead - Open Rank

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, seeks candidates for an open rank, open track, Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its expanding Cardiology Division and direct the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention program. Rank and tenure status will be determined depending on qualifications. The incumbent will be responsible for providing general, non-invasive, cardiovascular services, with an emphasis on inpatient and outpatient general cardiology. The candidate will actively participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff. Opportunities for research that are commensurate with experience and interest may be accommodated.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent.
• Board‑certified or eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• Eligible for appointment as a full‑time faculty member at start date.
