Responsibilities
- Involved in the analysis of unstructured and semi-structured data, including latent semantic indexing (LSI), entity identification and tagging, complex event processing (CEP), and the application of analysis algorithms on distributed, clustered, and cloud-based high-performance infrastructures.
- Apply non-traditional approaches to large-scale analysis of unstructured data in support of high-value use cases visualized through multi-dimensional interfaces.
- Process and index requests against high-volume data collections and high-velocity data streams; discover insights in big data.
- Develop and deploy sophisticated applications using advanced unstructured and semi-structured data analysis techniques on high-performance computing environments.
- Utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years with BS / BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS / MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhDRequires current TOP SECRET / SCI Clearance with PolyExperience with software development stacks (Java / Linux / Ruby / Python) or Windows stack (.NET, C#, C++)Experience with data transport and transformation APIs and technologies such as JSON, XML, XSLT, JDBC, SOAP, RESTCloud-based data analysis tools including Hadoop and Mahout; Apache Accumulo, Hive, Impala, Pig; visual analytics toolsExperience with open-source textual processing (Lucene, Sphinx, Nutch, Solr) and entity extraction / conceptual search (LSI, LDA)Machine learning, algorithm analysis, and data clusteringCI / CD experience (Jenkins, Groovy, GitLab CI / CD YAML)Developing Python and Bash scripts; creating Dockerfiles and running containers; Git workflows (GitHub, GitLab)Experience with non-person-entity certificates and cross-boundary deployments via CI / CDDetails
Target Salary Range : $146,000 - $234,000. Salary is determined by scope, experience, education, location, and other factors.
