Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team at Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL. As a crucial member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care to our residents, combining your clinical expertise with our commitment to delivering exceptional service with a personal touch.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications, treatments, and other medical interventions as prescribed by physicians and as needed
Monitor and report patient progress, symptoms, and changes to nursing staff and physicians
Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and services
Requirements:
Current LPN licensure in the state of Alabama
Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery
