Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to support enterprise-level Linux environments across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud platforms. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Linux administration, strong scripting / automation skills, and a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges. You'll lead critical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky9, RHEL) across on-prem, virtual, and cloud infrastructures
• Implement patch management, performance tuning, encryption, and MFA solutions to ensure compliance and security
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex Linux server and application issues
• Develop automation workflows and scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives
• Deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions; maintain SOPs and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and mentor junior engineers to drive efficiency and improvement
