Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of patient care. Meets the communications needs of the patients and family under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Must have a current and valid California license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse

2. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate

3. Current ACLS certificate

4. IV Certification

5. Minimum of one (1) year experience in an Acute Care Medical / Surgical setting

Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and / or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $28.00 to $37.68. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
