Position : Bilingual Therapist (Spanish)

Location : Garden Grove, Ca – Onsite

Schedule : 20 hours per week

We're looking for a compassionate, skilled Bilingual Therapist (Spanish) to join our team in Garden Grove . In this vital role, you'll provide trauma-informed clinical care to individuals, couples, and families - whether they're part of our community programs or living in our Emergency Shelter or Transitional Living homes.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Clinical Services team, you will :

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy to clients on their healing journey.
  • Lead and facilitate empowerment-based groups and workshops on topics like self-esteem, parenting, and healthy relationships.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services to walk-in or telehealth clients as needed.
  • Collaborate with case managers, legal advocates, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, case notes, and reports.
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision and contribute to team case reviews and ongoing learning.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with community partners to enhance client resources and support.

Position Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field (BBS registration required).
  • At least one year of direct clinical experience providing therapy or counseling.
  • Completion of 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor training (or willingness to complete).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English - both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills.
  • A deep commitment to trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care and empowering survivors.
  • Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
  • Completion of Live Scan background check and Drug Screen.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and perform basic physical functions of the role.
  • Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands for handling objects.
  • Required to stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and balance.
  • Ability to lift / move up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vison, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
