Cycle Instructor
Denver Health and Fitness, a premier fitness club with two locations in Denver, NC, is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our Cycle and Group Fitness programs. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills and the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead large groups. We're looking for individuals eager to learn, grow their expertise, and make a meaningful contribution to our community.
As we expand our offerings with the opening of our new 40,000 sf facility here in Denver, NC we are looking for the best cycle instructors to ride with us.
Are you passionate about fitness and inspiring others to reach their goals? Denver Health & Fitness is seeking an energetic and motivated Cycle Instructor to lead dynamic, heart-pumping classes at both of our premier locations in Denver, NC DHF North and DHF South.
Responsibilities :
Lead engaging and effective cycle / group fitness classes in various modalities based on certifications.Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.Adapt classes to accommodate participants of all fitness levels and ages, from 9 to 90 years old.Stay up-to-date with current fitness trends and continuously seek opportunities for professional development.Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate class times, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.Foster a sense of community and encourage member retention through excellent customer service and relationship-building.Ensure the safety of all participants by following proper exercise techniques and safety guidelines.Collaborate with the fitness management team to develop and improve class offerings.Physical ability to promote fitness and complete the workoutCompetencies / Qualifications
Must be assertive, enthusiastic, and punctualMust be 18 years or olderMust hold cycle / group fitness certification from nationally recognized certifying bodyMust hold a current, nationally recognized CPR certificationInstruct safe and effective exercise classes.Maintain positive relationships with members and encourage class attendance.Must have strong communication skills, and respond well to questionsMust be patient and comfortable dealing with all types of peopleAbility to lead and motivateDedication to maintaining personal integrity and ones own health and fitnessWillingness to present oneself as well as the company in a professional mannerAdhere and promote DHF core values.Follow all club / facility policies and procedures.Compensation / Benefits
