Grant Accountant

Job Description
Manage the full financial lifecycle of grants, including budgeting, tracking, reporting, and closeout. Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with grant terms and regulations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for funders and internal stakeholders. Assist with grant proposal budgets and financial documentation for applications. Coordinate with program managers and external partners on grant-related financial matters. Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for all grant transactions. Reconcile grant accounts and resolve discrepancies. Support external audits and internal reviews related to grants.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus). 2+ years of experience in grant accounting or fund accounting. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and private grant regulations (e.g., Uniform Guidance). Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
