About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days or Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : New York license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Must have New York license in hand
• Ability to take a patient ratio of 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 for Med-Surg
• Proficient in Epic

Description :

Cares primarily for CHF patients, acute MIs, post device care, and patients with arrhythmias.

Must be capable of cardiac monitoring and emergency response.

Requires interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Experience with rapid response and code teams is necessary.

Proficient in IV therapy and phlebotomy.

Knowledge of peripheral line care and management required.

Experience with nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks is essential.

Must be familiar with non-invasive airway management.

Understand isolation precautions.

Floating to other units is required.
