Description
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional capability
  • Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and recommended home exercises
  • Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress according to regulatory guidelines and facility protocols
  • Take part in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure coordinated approach to patient care
Education
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Rehabilitation Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are a bonus, but not mandatory
Skills
  • Strong preference for previous experience in a related field
  • Ability to manage patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
  • Competence with digital charting and clinical documentation systems
