Responsibilities\n\nObstetrics and Gynecology Registered Nurses (OB / GYN RN) work alongside OB / GYN physicians to provide prenatal, postpartum, and reproductive healthcare to female patients from puberty, during and after pregnancy, through menopause, and beyond. OB / GYN RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : \n
- Conduct and evaluate fetal monitoring to determine the well-being of fetuses\n
- Provide discharge education to mothers and their families, answering questions related to medication, birth control, and vitamins\n
