This is a rare opportunity to join Pali Institute, in a brand-new role, to support our continued success. Pali Institute is seeking a passionate, driven and strategic Business Development Manager to grow our Outdoor Education division. This role will build our brand awareness and secure partnerships, targeting new school districts and individual schools within the public and private sectors. The individual will present and sell to a range of positions from administrative, to Superintendents. Success in this role will require strong in-person and virtual presentation skills , can build immediate rapport, develop meaningful partnerships works with our partners as a consultant who is excited and can articulate the value of outdoor education.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively connect with public school districts, public and private schools
Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.Through a consultative approach, assess district / schools' current outdoor educational programs and identify how Pali Institute can partner on current and future programsPrepare in-person and virtual presentations with applicable offerings detailing benefits to students, parents, schools / districts and teachers. sessions.Conduct on-site site visits of our facilities with various levels of educators, districts and schoolsRepresent Pali Institute at trade shows and networking events foster connections, generate new partnerships and build brand visibilityAchieve overall assigned revenue and district / school vendor goalsPrepare proposals and contracts that reflect value for Pali Institute and our District / school partnersManage negotiations and contracting with flexibility adjusting terms and conditions of contracts based on overall value of partnershipServe as the ongoing point of contact for assigned partners, maintaining quality communications and interactionsContinually monitor partner satisfaction, proactively recommending new programming opportunities and addressing any overall partnership concernsOversee partnerships from concept to fulfillment, with regular frequency of meetings that include opportunity for new partnership revenues and overall satisfaction.Partner with internal teams to ensure the delivery of seamless client experience from sales to program execution.Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals / contractsProvide regular updates on sales progress, client feedback, and market trends to senior leadership.Ideal Candidate
3-5 years of sales and service experience2+ years of experience working in a growth mode organizationOperational experience a plusExceptional interpersonal and communication skills,Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot)Strong Analytic SkillsEnthusiastic about outdoor experiences and educationClient-First mindsetHighly self-motivated, adaptableTravel as required for in-person meetings, sites or networking, siteA person committed to our purpose and making positive changeCompensation and Benefits
Salary Range : $75,000 to $ 85 ,000 annual salary, based on experience.
