Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,359 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required License : Valid RN license required in hand at time of submission Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM or AWHONN required Must-Have : 2 years of L&D experience required BLS, ACLS, NRP certification required C-EFM or AWHONN certification acceptable Epic experience required IV start and L&D experience required May be required to float to different units Description : No scheduled time off from 2 / 15 / 26 through 2 / 28 / 26. 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week are required, totaling 36 hours. Estimated patient ratios are N / A. Skills required include IV start and experience in Labor and Delivery. Candidates with previous travel experience are preferred. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Daily census is approximately 10 patients. Candidates must recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Candidates will be required to perform sterile vaginal exams and assist in Cesarean sections. Experience in high-risk antepartum care is necessary. Candidates will provide breastfeeding and lactation support. Candidates must administer medications such as Pitocin (oxytocin) and magnesium sulfate therapy. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing postpartum hemorrhage and other high-risk conditions. Candidates will be responsible for conducting non-stress tests and triaging obstetrical patients.
