Rotating - 5 x 8 hours

About the Position

Duties :

• Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with a specialty proceduralist
• Strong knowledge of Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
• The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
• The ability to think critically during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist the proceduralist
• The ability to operate the power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication
• The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload
• Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
• Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and sending images to the Sectra / PACs system
• Groin management post-intervention
• Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast -paced environment
• Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
• This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities
