Clair Global Product is growing and looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to their team! The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting parts, materials, and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and control plans. This role supports the overall quality management system by executing inspections, maintaining accurate records, and escalating nonconformances. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in the use of precision measurement tools, and committed to supporting a culture of quality within the manufacturing environment. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Proficiency in the use of standard measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).Basic understanding of quality control principles; familiarity with ISO9001, Lean, or Six Sigma a plus.Computer literacy for data entry and report generation.EXPERIENCE :
1–3 years of experience in quality inspection or a related manufacturing role.High school diploma required; associate's or technical degree in manufacturing, quality, or engineering discipline preferred.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products against drawings, specifications, and control plans.Document inspection results accurately and completely using approved forms and electronic systems.Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming parts and materials.Escalate quality issues promptly to supervisors and engineers for resolution.Assist in the execution of control plans and inspection checklists.Support internal audits and external quality assessments as needed.Maintain inspection tools, ensuring they are calibrated and used correctly.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on recurring inspection findings.Follow all quality and safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
