Description :
Position focuses on medical-surgical and telemetry care.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience.
Candidates should have the ability to float across all adult inpatient departments as needed.
Weekend commitments include every other weekend.
Candidates must be available to be placed on call twice per contract.
Holiday commitment includes working 1 winter holiday.
Required to manage dysrhythmias and perform related patient monitoring.
Daily patient ratios are maintained at 6 patients per nurse.
Candidates are responsible for IV management and administration of medications.
The unit supports a diverse patient population, primarily adults and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of isolation precautions is essential.
Experience in interpretation of dysrhythmias is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team is necessary.
Flexibility to adapt to shifting patient needs is important.
Candidates must demonstrate professional conduct throughout the assignment.
Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is required.
