As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service with clear communication. What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both internal areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards, documenting all security-related incidents according to company policy. Communicate clearly and courteously with students, staff, and visitors, offering assistance and guidance as needed. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required to manage security-related incidents. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with security-related procedures and protocols relevant to an educational environment. Minimum Requirements : CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
