Job description

Overview

Join our team as a Clinical Therapy Development Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in advancing the utilization and sales of the Sight Sciences TearCare System. Your expertise will empower both new and existing customers through exceptional clinical and product training, while partnering with the Ocular Surface Representative to provide ongoing support to current users.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-office training and ensure smooth product integration to create a positive initial experience with TearCare.
  • Develop tailored plans with practices to optimize processes that facilitate patient identification and treatment using TearCare in a reimbursed setting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Ocular Surface Representative to build trusted relationships with TearCare accounts.
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with assigned accounts to drive engagement and growth.
  • Assess each customer's priorities, challenges, and opportunities to implement effective solutions.
  • Engage in business-level discussions with eye care professionals (ECPs) and office administrators.
  • Facilitate patient access through education and effective use of approved reimbursement resources by partnering with the market access team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in CRM, including customer forecasting.
  • Leverage clinical data from TearCare in discussions with ECPs.
  • Assist in implementing marketing strategies, promotions, and programs.
  • Participate in conferences and contribute to the efforts of the commercial team.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in dry eye management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all partnerships through regular training and coaching.
  • Uphold a professional image when interacting with key stakeholders in the eye care community.

Qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a clinical optometric or ophthalmic environment.

  • Other Qualifications
  • Background in an eye care practice with experience in interventional technologies and ocular surface disease management preferred.

  • Prior experience in training and coaching.
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented mindset and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on conflict resolution and problem-solving.
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with market access and reimbursement processes.
  • Physical Demands

  • Stamina : Be prepared for long hours on your feet while visiting various healthcare facilities and attending trade shows.
  • Lifting & Carrying : Ability to lift and transport medical devices, occasionally weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Driving : A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for travel to customer locations.
  • Travel Requirements

  • 20% to 40% overnight travel based on territory.
  • 90% face-to-face interaction with customers.
