Overview :
This role is for a senior-level Quality Manager responsible for driving quality excellence across manufacturing operations. The position focuses on ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality and hygiene across the plant.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the main point of contact for customer quality issues, including new item requests, initial production samples, and ongoing quality concerns.
Develop and maintain plant capabilities to successfully host external audits from customers, third-party auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Implement, manage, and oversee integrated ISO management systems.
Notify relevant teams regarding product defects related to formula, packaging, or other production issues.
Provide proactive and reactive guidance to resolve potential or existing quality issues.
Ensure hygiene standards are developed and maintained in collaboration with plant hygiene personnel.
Provide technical support to R&D, Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing for new initiatives and projects.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in Quality, Hygiene, or both, including site management.
Solid knowledge of Quality fundamentals, principles, and core tools.
Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement using process mapping, root cause analysis, and Lean methodologies.
Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Quality certifications are preferred.
