We are currently hiring Sales Supervisors for our Southampton (NY) flagship.
Role Overview
This is a sales-focused role with leadership responsibilities. Sales Supervisors are responsible for meeting individual sales goals while helping set the tone for the broader store team. This includes delivering exceptional client service, upholding the standards and values of håndværk, and fostering a culture of professionalism and care. Sales Supervisors work closely with the company founder and serve as senior leadership on the floor in the absence of store management.

Responsibilities
Leadership
- Operate as a self-starter—independent, reliable, and able to manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Partner with the founder to inspire and motivate the team to achieve sales goals and store KPIs
- Lead by example through exceptional customer service and commitment to store standards
- Represent the håndværk brand in conduct, presentation, and product knowledge
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for the brand
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Show deep knowledge of the collection, the brand’s history, and core values
- Identify opportunities in product, sales, or team development and present thoughtful solutions to leadership
- Maintain awareness of the local client base, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Suggest appropriate community partnerships and activations
- Contribute to a collaborative, respectful store culture
- Share relevant client insights or feedback with the founder and store team
Sales

Required Skills
Previous experience in a luxury or premium retail environment, with a focus on client-based sellingProven track record of strong sales performanceStrong computer skills (MS Office); experience using Square or a similar POS systemDemonstrated ability to build and manage long-term client relationshipsAppreciation for craftsmanship, natural materials, and understated designExperience

This position offers an hourly wage of $25.00 , plus commission on personal net sales.
