Job descriptionUse our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the hotel or resort location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client procedures. Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or providing information to first responders. Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to guests and staff. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. As a Security Officer - Resort Unarmed Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to guests and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. By embodying Allied Universals values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, you will play a key role in supporting a secure and comfortable environment for everyone at the property.
