Job Description :

This is a casual position supporting all inpatient psychiatry units within the Allina Health system with an on-site presence being preferred. Locations include : Abbott Northwestern Hospital (Minneapolis), United Hospital (St. Paul and Hastings), Unity Hospital (Fridley), plus New Ulm Medical Center and Owatonna Hospital, both part of Allina Health.

Responsibilities included : covering patient beds, rounding, admissions / discharges and responding to pages until 5pm.

You will see 10-12 patient per day during the week

Weekday shifts M-F 8a-5pm with h ighly flexible scheduling. Able to pick up weekday and weekend work as able.

Compensation is paid as an hourly rate and Epic is the EMR used.

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine

Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training

Licenses / Certifications

Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required and board certified in Psychiatry within two years of hire upon hire

ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required upon hire

Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required

Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required

National Provider Identifier upon hire required

Pay Range

Pay Range : $328,400 to $339,000 per year

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
