Facility Housekeeper

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a Facility Housekeeper for a health care building in Port Clinton, OH.

As a Facility Housekeeping professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital's physical environment. Your attention to detail and dedication to providing a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility will directly contribute to the overall patient experience and the well-being of our staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities include :

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste and hazardous materials
• Restock and maintain supplies in designated areas
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to infection control and workplace safety
• Collaborate with the facilities management team to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs

Qualifications :

Working conditions :

This is a full-time, temporary to hire position with the potential for a permanent role. The work environment involves the physical demands of cleaning and maintaining a healthcare facility, including standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying supplies, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. The schedule may include a mix of day and evening shifts, as well as weekends and holidays, to ensure the hospital's facilities are maintained at all times.

Compensation and benefits :

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15 -$18 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth.
