Summary
The Shipping Tech will be responsible for preparing items for all outgoing shipments. Duties of the Shipping Teche will include packaging, creating bills of lading, building pallets, loading the trailer, using FedEx ship manager, using Everest’s shipping wizard, EDI (true commerce) and arranging for the transportation of products.
Essential Functions
Conducting day to day duties on Everest and true commerce.
Requirements : Educational / Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and / or training; equivalent combination (preferred). Company will provide equipment and machine training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Language Skills : Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Problem Solving Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working Hours : Hours will be 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM Monday through Friday

Warehouse / Production :
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those typical in a warehouse environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud, including the sounds of forklifts and tools. The temperature in the warehouse is moderate to hot depending on the time of the year.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
