Travel Nurse Job Details Job Title : Med / Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Odessa, Texas 79761 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job Contract Duration : 13 weeks Start Date : November 25, 2025 End Date : February 24, 2026 Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48 hours / week or alternating 36 / 48) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750 Unit : Flexpool - Med / Surg Tele RN (must be willing to float to other med / surg / tele units) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license required At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required NIHSS certification preferred Cerner charting experience preferred Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions allowed) COVID-19 vaccine not required Ability to float to other Med / Surg / Tele units Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted Resume required for submission RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med / Surg Tele patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress Administer prescribed medications and treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Float to other Med / Surg / Tele units as assigned Maintain accurate charting using Cerner (preferred) Participate in orientation and ongoing nurse training Discover the benefits of travel nursing in Texas and experience Odessa's hospitality while growing your healthcare career.
