  • Dress Code : Solid Navy Scrubs\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Associate degree in nursing (required)\n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses accepted)\n
  • BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (required)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with at least 18 months of experience considered if 1 year is in Med / Surg Telemetry\n
  • Ability to float to other units and hospitals as needed\n

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute or chronic kidney disease, including renal replacement therapy\n
  • Manage a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio, specializing in post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care\n
  • Collaborate with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists for comprehensive patient care\n
  • Support patients throughout their treatment journey, from diagnosis to ongoing management\n
  • Float to other units or hospitals as required to meet patient care needs\n
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR\n
  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code\n
