The facility operates as a non-closed ICU where primary physicians manage patient care rather than dedicated intensivists. The unit provides comprehensive critical care including balloon pump management, ventilator support, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Respiratory therapy services are available 24 / 7 with coverage across multiple units, and the facility maintains nocturnist coverage for after-hours physician support.
