Job descriptionMD / DO Board Certified in Pediatrics Experience in inpatient pediatric hospitalist or nursery coverage Comfortable managing deliveries and newborn care independently
Job Opportunity : Pediatric Hospitalist (Locums)
Location : Belleville, New Jersey
Start Date : November 2025 (credentialing required)
Coverage Need : Ongoing
Contract Length : Through June 2026 (with option to extend)
Schedule : 12-hour shifts
Setting : Community Hospital Well Baby Nursery & ER consults
Assignment Overview
- Well Baby Nursery coverage, ER consults, and deliveries
- Average census : 5 nursery patients, 3 ER consults, 5 deliveries per shift
- Total patient load : per shift
- Solo provider coverage (no APP supervision required)
- Trauma level : Non-trauma
- EMR : Epic
