This position will support Urgent Convenient Care Center in picturesque Cortland and Ithaca, New York.
The purpose of the Advanced Provider is to assist the physicians of the practice with clinical activities, surgeries and other direct patient care including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care.
Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work under the direct supervision of practice doctors.
Full Time
130 Clinical Hours per month, approximately 11 shifts a month
10 or 12 Hour Shifts

Qualifications :
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program with Board Certification / Board Eligibility
Nurse Pracititoners shall have completed one of the following accredited training programs : Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)
Proficiency with acute care procedural skills including incision and drainage, epistaxis management, foreign body removal, fluorescein ophthalmic examinations, laceration repair and fracture management
Strongly preferred :
At least one year of continuous full time clinical practice in primary care, urgent care or emergency medicine
Completion of emergency medicine or urgent care fellowship program
