About the Role :

As a Senior Software Developer - Integration at Hastings Insurance, you'll play a key role in enhancing and supporting the integration of our core Property and Casualty systems. This position blends technical design, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the success of mission-critical software initiatives, including system modernization. It's a highly visible role with opportunities to partner across departments and contribute to long-term architectural solutions.

What You'll Do :

• Design, develop, and deploy complex system integrations that align with business needs.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical design specifications.
• Program and configure components across integrations, plug-ins, and messaging systems.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to present solution options and provide effort estimates.
• Follow established SDLC processes for coding, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Promote and apply best practices and coding standards to enhance development productivity.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current on emerging technologies.

• Work closely with vendors, business partners, and leaders-including executive-level stakeholders.
• Influence architectural decisions and system improvements.
• Engage with a broad range of technologies within Hastings' software ecosystem.
• This role can be based remotely or at our corporate office, with flexibility based on business needs.
