About The Position

Job Title : Post Partum, Labor and Delivery Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 1 year Med / Surg experience, 2 years previous Labor & Delivery experience required

License : IA RN license or compact state

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, CPI certifications are required

Must-Have : 1 year Med / Surg experience, 2 years Labor & Delivery experience

Description :

The Birth Center supports the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum model of care.

Staff members work closely with family practice OB providers.

Postoperative care for GYN patients is also provided.

TOLAC and VBAC services are offered.

Shifts are primarily 12 hours and occur during the nighttime.

The schedule includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

Flexibility in scheduling may be required based on departmental needs.
