We're seeking an IT Development Manager in the Chicago metro area to lead development teams in building and maintaining business and technical systems for commercial HVAC operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead team of developers in analysis, design, and implementation of business systems
- Evaluate and implement standards and procedures for application infrastructure
- Oversee development projects from requirements gathering through deployment
- Coordinate with business units to understand needs and translate to technical solutions
- Manage application maintenance and enhancement requests
- Ensure system security and data integrity across all applications
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements
- Develop team members through coaching and professional development opportunities

Requirements
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of software development experience with multiple programming languages
- 3+ years of management experience leading technical teams
- Strong understanding of database design and enterprise architecture
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in construction, field service, or HVAC industry
- Knowledge of ERP and field service management systems
- Certifications in project management or software development
- Master's degree in related field
