Description
1. Administration
• Escort incoming guests to rooms.
• Assist guests with luggage.
• Inspect guest room to ensure that it is in order, and that supplies are adequate.
• Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system, etc.
• Offer information pertaining to available hotel services, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Deliver messages and run errands.
• Transport guests in hotel van within property requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness of both interior and exterior of van.
• Maintain all mileage records on a daily basis.
• Report all trips to front desk; length of drive as well as length of time spent.
• Keep record of calls for service.
• Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
• Set up sample rooms.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
2. Support
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
• Attend required meetings.
